SUMMARY:Bear & Wine Festival
DESCRIPTION:The Adirondacks Speculator Region Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the premiere of the ‘Speculator Region Bear & Wine Festival\,’ on Saturday\, October 5th\, from 11 AM-5 PM\, at the Speculator Pavilion and Ball Field. Local wineries\, breweries\, distilleries\, and cideries will be offering tastings and products to purchase! The first 200 guests will receive premium giveaways. \nLocal artisans\, crafters and food vendors will be on hand to round out the event. Experts from the Department of Environmental Conservation will be campaigning to help bears stay wild\, and our local community leaders will be raising funds to acquire bear-proof receptacles for our downtown area. \nTasting Tickets are $10.00 in advance and $12.00 at the door; Designated Driver Tickets are $5.00 in advance and $7.00 at the door. Tickets can be purchased at the Chamber Office\, located in the Lane Emporium at the 4 Corners in Speculator. \nThis event is made possible by the following sponsors: Speculator Spirits\, Charlie Johns\, Speculator Department Store\, Bethsbrush\, J&R Eldredge Inc.\, Kingboro Lumber\, NBT Bank\, Schults Insurance Agency\, and Timberline Café & Bakery.
